Getting started

What does Blog Health App actually do?

It keeps an eye on your blog so you do not have to. It scans your posts for broken links, SEO issues, and PageSpeed problems, and it pulls your Google Analytics and Search Console numbers into one dashboard so you can see what is working, what is slipping, and what needs attention. Think of it as a regular checkup for your blog, without you having to remember to book the appointment.

Do I need to be technical to use it?

Not at all. If you can run a blog, you can run Blog Health App. You add your site by pasting its address, and we handle the rest. Everything is written in plain language, blogger to blogger, with no jargon to decode.

How do I sign in?

With your Google account, and that is the only way in. We never ask you to create or remember another password, because we never store one. You do need to be at least 16 to use Blog Health App.

How does it know which posts I have?

When you add your site, we look for your sitemap automatically, which is the map most blogs publish of every page they have. From there we know which posts to check. You do not need to upload anything or list your posts by hand.

Which blogging platforms does it work with?

Blog Health works with any blog that publishes a sitemap, which most platforms do automatically, including WordPress. As long as we can find your sitemap when you add your site, we can scan your posts. There is nothing to install: no plugin, no code to paste into your blog.

Is Blog Health for me?

Who is Blog Health really for?

Bloggers who already have a blog up and running with a real body of posts behind them, and who want to keep all that work healthy as it grows. If you have been publishing for a while and you are starting to lose track of what needs fixing, what is slipping, and what to write next, that is exactly the moment Blog Health earns its place. It is most at home with intermediate bloggers rather than someone setting up their very first site this week.

Do I need to know SEO already?

You do not need to be an SEO expert, but it helps to know the basics. Blog Health is not a course on how to write SEO posts, and it will not teach you writing from scratch. It assumes you are already writing and publishing, and its job is to show you what is working, what is quietly breaking, and where the easy improvements are hiding across everything you have already made.

Can I use Blog Health for my hobby blog?

Blog Health is built for people running their blog as a professional or business activity, whether that is freelance blogging, creating content for a living, or a small business. When you sign up you confirm you are using it in that professional capacity rather than as a pure hobby. If your blog is part of how you work, you are in exactly the right place.

Plans & billing

What is the difference between FREE and PRO?

FREE lets you track one site with manual scans whenever you like, plus your Google Analytics and Search Console dashboard. PRO raises the ceilings and adds the automation: scheduled scans with email alerts, more posts and more scans per month, Content Coach, and Page Watch. The full side by side, with exact numbers, lives on our pricing page so there is only ever one place to check.

Is there really a free plan?

Yes, genuinely free, and not a trial that quietly expires. FREE covers one blog with the core checks and your Google dashboard, for as long as you want it. You only move to PRO if and when you want the automation and the deeper features.

Do you offer a free trial?

There is no time-limited trial, and you do not need one. FREE is genuinely free for as long as you like, with no card required to start, so you can get a real feel for how Blog Health works on your own blog before deciding whether PRO is worth it.

Can I track more than one blog?

Right now each account covers one blog, on both FREE and PRO. PRO gives you more depth on that one site rather than more sites. If tracking several blogs is something you need, tell us through the contact page, because it genuinely helps us decide what to build next.

Can I cancel anytime? What about refunds?

Yes. You can cancel your PRO subscription anytime, and you keep PRO access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, after which your account simply moves back to FREE. And if PRO turns out not to be for you, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee: email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. The full detail lives in our Terms and Conditions.

How do I upgrade to PRO?

From your Account page you choose PRO, pick monthly or annual billing, and enter your details on a secure checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never pass through our own servers. The moment payment goes through, your account upgrades automatically with nothing else to set up.

Scans

What does a scan check?

Three things at once. Broken links, so you catch the ones that quietly rot over time. SEO basics on each post, like meta descriptions and canonical tags. And PageSpeed with Core Web Vitals, which is how fast and how smoothly your pages actually load for readers. You get one clear report rather than three separate tools to juggle.

What is a scheduled scan?PRO

Instead of remembering to run a scan yourself, PRO lets you set one to run on a schedule, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. After each scheduled scan finishes, we email you if something needs attention, so problems come to you rather than waiting to be found.

Why did my scan fail?

Almost always one of two reasons. Either we could not read your sitemap, or your host has bot protection (something like Cloudflare) that blocked our checker from reading your pages. Our help guide on failed scans walks through both, and if you are still stuck, the feedback button in your dashboard reaches us directly.

Can I export my results?

Yes, and on every plan including FREE. From your Posts and Pages tab you can export your results to a CSV file, which opens in any spreadsheet, so you can sort them, prioritise, and work through fixes in whatever order suits you.

Google connections

Do I have to connect Google Analytics and Search Console?

No, they are optional. Blog Health App works without them, but connecting them is where the dashboard gets really useful, because it can show you traffic and search performance next to your health checks. You can connect them right after signing in, or later from your settings, and disconnect anytime.

What data do you actually see?

Only aggregate, page level numbers: views, sessions, engagement, clicks, impressions, and average position. We never see individual visitors or any personal data about your readers. It is the same big picture you would see in Google's own reports, just gathered into one place alongside everything else.

What is Combined Insights?

Combined Insights is the dashboard that pulls your Google Analytics and Search Console numbers together and flags the story in them: what is working, what is quietly slipping, and what needs attention. Instead of you cross-checking two Google tools yourself, it surfaces the posts worth looking at. It is included on every plan once you connect your Google accounts.

Content Coach

What is Content Coach?PRO

It is an AI content strategist that reads your whole blog and tells you how it fits together. It groups your posts into topic clusters, points out gaps you have not covered, finds pairs of your own posts that should link to each other, flags orphan posts nothing links to, and gives you a ranked list of what to write next. Each site gets three Content Coach analyses a month.

How accurate is it?

Content Coach is powered by AI, and its suggestions are guidance to review with your own judgement, not instructions to follow blindly. It is very good at spotting patterns across a whole blog that are hard to hold in your head, but you know your readers and your niche best. Treat it as a sharp second opinion, then decide what is worth acting on.

Page Watch

What is Page Watch?PRO

It watches pages on other websites that you link to, and tells you when they change. Say you link to a museum's opening hours, an attraction's ticket prices, or a country's visa rules. Page Watch checks those pages for you once a day, and when one changes, you get an AI-generated summary of what changed, along with which of your posts link to it, so you know exactly what to go and update.

How many pages can I watch?

Up to five pages on PRO. It is designed for the handful of pages that really matter to your content and would embarrass you if they went out of date, rather than watching your whole reading list.

What kind of pages can I watch?

Publicly available pages only: the kind anyone can open without logging in. You cannot watch pages behind a login, a paywall, or anything showing personal data. This keeps Page Watch to information that is already public, and it is set out in our Terms of Use.

Privacy & support

Do you store my password?

No. Sign in is through Google only, so there is no password for us to keep, lose, or leak. Your Google account stays with Google.

Is my data safe?

Yes, we take it seriously. We only collect what we need to run your checks and show your dashboard, your data is encrypted, and we never sell it. When you connect Google Analytics or Search Console, we only ever read your numbers, never change anything on your Google account. The full detail of what we hold, why, and the rights you have over your data lives in our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Email us at support@bloghealth.app and we will delete your account and personal data, then confirm once it is done. Under GDPR you also have the right to access, correct, or receive a copy of your data, and you can ask us about any of that at the same address.

How do I get help?

The feedback button in your dashboard is the fastest way to reach us, and it comes straight to a real person on a small team, not a ticket queue. You can also email us at support@bloghealth.app. We read everything.

Still have a question?

We answer our own email, and we would genuinely like to hear from you. Nothing is too small to ask.
